Class: Story Medicine for Racial Healing Parents Edition SM4RH-PE-C

Class – Thursday evenings, August 30 – October 19, 2023, 6:30 – 8:30pm, cost $450 + $16 PayPal convenience fee (partial scholarships available)

To teach our children, we must first teach ourselves. This eight-week class is an opportunity to engage in healing, group learning and ceremony, with a focus on raising race-conscious white children. You will explore cycles and systems of institutional racism as they pertain to parenting white children in a racist society. Through interaction with the sacred, with course materials, and with your fellow classmates, you will learn both practical strategies and a healing methodology that is grounded in indigenous story-telling. This class is an opportunity for white people to use white space to heal without burdening or traumatizing people of color.
